Badly disappointed by David M. at InsiderPages
My sister in law used Mr. Reedy for a child support issue. She asked me to accompany her to her meetings with Mr. Reedy and to the courthouse when the time came. Mr. Reedy, having been a police officer, seemed very knowledgeable of the criminal justice system, and was very professional. My problem with his service was that he assured us that we would have no problems getting the support changed and that the other party involved would be held accountable for their actions and the judge would rule in our favor and all these wonderful things. Well when time came for us to go to court, the other party involved had no representation and was totally unprepared for the court appearance, but my sister in law walked away with nothing. I mean, the other party basically showed up and said I don't have a job and the judge just said okay, you don't have to pay anything. I was shocked because my sister in law spend a thousand dollars for representation from Mr. Reedy, and she could have gotten the same result if she just would have walked in there alone.
What made me mad was that Mr. Reedy gave us actual dollar amounts we could expect and everything.
I was just really upset because I recommended she get a lawyer, and all it did was cost her.
