I went to Leggios in Dallas for Mothers Day yesterday with my family. It was extremely disappointing and I felt the need to let you know how dissatisfied we were. Our reservations were at 11 and we were told we could not order brunch (which was what we all had planned to order). We tried to order a calzone and we were told no sandwiches or pizza was available either. Our only choices were from the dinner menu. We all felt this was obviously done to force your customers to spend more money. We had to eat shrimp scampi for breakfast

Took whole family out for son's birthday-food was alright, but serving size and presentation was extremely disappointing. Was very shocked to be served dinner on plastic plates (?????). They really need to invest in new dishware. Also dessert tasted good, again, served in plastic, this time disposable plastic. Yikes... Diningrooms need to have tables divided up a bit so customers have a bit of privacy-it's way too open, like a cafeteria or banquet hall. If the owners looked into "classing" the place up just a bit and improved serving size/sides included, many of us would consider going back again. Otherwise, will stick with Metro and Connors, for now... Sorry...

We had the opportunity to dine at Leggios in Dallas Saturday night.(9/11) (old Pickets Charge). I will allow a few errors, as they are brand new. The food was fair but needs some tweaking. Salad was quite boring (iceberg, 2 end slices of tomato and onion with way too much dressing). Bread needs improvement the crust is excessively dry and not chewy; the bread dip was tasty but needs to be served on a plate not in a plastic cup! Moreover, a little balsamic would definitely help. The standard marinara sauce is just that . . . standard-needs a few spices and to be sweetened up a lot! Pizza was good. Side pasta dish needs way more sauce too. Tea was weak. The Hostess was too busy visiting with friends and forgot she was on the job. Service was great and the server was friendly and quite helpful she knew her job and did it well! Prices are good and include soup/salad and side dish of pasta. However, the worst . . . the plates are PLASTIC, which my new sharp knife sank right into! They are in a great location especially since Dallas residents need places to eat but there is much room for improvement! Good Luck!
