I FREQUENT MERTS OFTEN, AND IT IS ONE OF NICEST BARS IN DOWNTOWN, ITS ALWAYS CLEAN,AND A RESPECTABLE BARS I FREQUENT.AS PER TE OTHER REVIEWS ABOUT THE OWNER, HE IS TRYING TO RUN A BAR THAT IS RESPECTABLE SO THE CLIENTEL IS LIKE WISE.BEING A FORMER BAR OWNER, U MUST RUN THE BAR ACCORDING TO MORALS, THATS WHY I FREQUENT MERTS

Poor Business
It was my first time and my last time at Merts. The band was awesome. The owner not so awesome.
The band was playing too loud and was asked to leave. First it is a bar you should expect loud music. Secondly the owner now lost an hour and a half of business since all the customers were there to hear the band and left with the band. He should have let them finish the night and then let them know it was not what he wanted in his bar. Thumbs down for this place....
